What is stored

The email address given at Checkout, as it was typed, and also in normalised form: lower case, without the suffix after a plus sign and, for Gmail, without the dots. It shows who owns a listing and is not shown publicly.

A hashed fingerprint of the card. The card number itself never reaches vertio.ch and is never stored.

The content of the listing: title, description, address, icon, commune, category and amount. These are public.

The IP address, the user agent and the time the terms were accepted. They are kept as evidence in case of a chargeback.

The text of the linked landing page, as far as it is given to the classifier for assessment.

The payment events that Stripe reports to vertio.ch.

Why

This data serves the performance of the contract, the prevention of fraud and duplicate listings, and legal obligations. It is not used for other purposes and it is not sold.

Who processes the data

Payment runs through Stripe. Stripe is the payment processor and processes the card and billing data.

The email with the change link is sent through Infomaniak in Switzerland. The classifier runs on the operator's own hardware; the texts it reads go to no external service.

There are no advertising networks, no trackers and no analytics cookies. At most, technically necessary cookies are set.

Retention

Payment records and the evidence that belongs to them are kept for as long as a chargeback is possible, and after that for as long as the legal retention period requires. Lapsed reservations are deleted.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected and to have it deleted. Write to info@vertio.ch. Data kept as evidence or under a legal obligation can be deleted only when that period has run out.

Hosting

The site and its database run on a server in Switzerland.
